If you would like to share something from your computer to your student, you may use screen sharing on Skype to let them see it without sending the file. This feature lets you share a live video of what’s on your computer screen, such as a website, the software you’re using, or a presentation material that you may use for your lessons. It’s a great way to demonstrate how to do something or show them what you’re working on.
To share your screen, you must call your student first.
Click the + button in the call window, then choose Share screens.
Your student will be able to see a live video of what’s on your screen, including your desktop and any programs you may have open. Below is an example of what it will look like from your student’s point of view.
To stop sharing your screen, click the Stop sharing button.
Click the End Call button when you’re ready to hang up.
